PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear part structure allowing prevention of leakage of mud from between an upper end part at an end part of a vehicle width direction of a rear bumper and a lower end part of an adjacent member to the vehicle outside to improve commercial value of an automobile, improvement of a degree of freedom in design and reduction of manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In this vehicle body rear part structure, the upper end part 3J1 at the end part of the vehicle width direction of a rear bumper and the lower end part 8K of the adjacent member 8 adjacent to the end part of the vehicle width direction of the rear bumper from an upper side are abutted on each other. A mud receiving flange 3F for preventing entering of mud flung up from rear wheels 1 into a space between the upper end part 3J1 and the lower end part 8K abutted on each other is projected from the upper end part 3J1 to a vehicle front side Fr.
