Disclosed is a reference voltage generation circuit comprising a reference voltage generation and comparison unit, a drive unit, and M drive unit candidate circuits. The reference voltage generation and comparison unit generates reference voltage. An output voltage output from the reference voltage generation circuit is input into the reference voltage generation and comparison unit as a negative feedback voltage. After being compared with the reference voltage, the output voltage is output from the reference voltage generation and comparison unit to the drive unit and the M drive unit candidate circuits. When power supply voltage of the reference voltage generation circuit varies, after being driven by the drive unit and the drive unit candidate circuits, the output voltage is output to an output terminal of the reference voltage generation circuit so that the output voltage can be stabilized at the level of the reference voltage.
