The present invention relates to a composition comprising as components (a1) at least one polymer, (a2) 1 to 30 wt.% of a carboxylic acid 2-propylheptyl ester, (a3) 20 to 120 wt.% of at least one plasticizer which differs from components (a1) and (a2), (a4) 0 to 40 wt.% of at least one additive which differs from components (a1), (a2) and (a3), wherein the wt.% data are in each case based on the polymer, and a process for the preparation of a composition, a process for the production of a shaped article, the shaped article obtainable by this process and the use of a fatty acid 2-propylheptyl ester.
