<p>The embodiments of the present invention provide a paging processing method, system and Serving Gateway (SGW), wherein the paging processing method includes: the SGW acquires that a failure occurs in a Mobility Management Entity (MME), and determines a failure type; the SGW reselects an MME according to the failure type; and the SGW transmits a downlink data notification message to the reselected MME, and the reselected MME transmits a paging message to a User Equipment (UE) which is served, before the failure occurs, by the MME in which the failure occurs. With the method, system and SGW provided in the embodiments of the present invention, in a scenario that the failure occurs in the MME, the SGW reselects an MME for the UE which is served, before the failure occurs, by the MME in which the failure occurs, and triggers the reselected MME to carry out paging the UE, then triggers the UE to initiate an attachment flow to re-establish a context, thus the service experience effect of the user is enhanced effectively.</p> |
