WESTGATE ACTUATOR FOR TURBO

Disclosed is a westgate actuator comprised of an actuator main body (3) and a motor main body (4), which are detachably connected by abutting the end face of an actuator shaft (1) to the end face of a motor shaft (2). The actuator main body (3) is provided with a biasing member (5) which always biases the actuator shaft (1) in a valve closing direction. The motor main body (4) is provided with the motor shaft (2) which is moved on a straight axis by being energized. The position of a westgate valve provided in a turbocharger can be stably maintained with a high degree of accuracy, and the westgate valve can be operated except during supercharging by the westgate actuator.
