<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the image quality of a printed matter with a base pattern printed deteriorates due to density correction, when the maximum toner supplied amount does not exceeded, because density correction is performed in advance so as to print image data in conventional techniques, even if there is a case where the toner applied amount to be applied in each unit area exceeds the maximum toner applied amount previously set in an image processing apparatus since printing is performed after synthesizing base pattern image data with image data to be printed in base pattern printing. <P>SOLUTION: Toner applied amounts for print image data and base pattern image data are calculated to determine whether the maximum toner applied amount is exceeded at base pattern synthesis. When the maximum toner applied amount is exceeded, toner applied amount control is performed so that the toner applied amount for the base pattern image data is reduced with respect to the print image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
