<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide agents and preparations used for treatment or prevention of hyperglycemia or for stabilization of glycemia based on cell walls of yeast, and a corresponding therapeutic composition. <P>SOLUTION: The agent, comprising the cell walls of yeast of Saccharomyces cerevisiae species, with the total content of glucan and mannan of at least 34.0 mass% based on the dry material and the glycogen content of less than 10.0 mass% based on the dry material, and the therapeutic composition of hyperglycemia using this are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
