<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a device and method for drive control of a light emitting diode array so as to considerably reduce the cost relating to the drive control by reducing the electric energy loss due to conversion and to allow simple maintenance management at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes an electric energy source, a current regulator, and at least two light emitting diode arrays, each of which includes one or more light emitting diodes. The current regulator includes a means which generates a substantially fixed current, and the light emitting diode arrays and the current regulator are operated in cooperation so that the substantially fixed current generated by the means is at least temporarily supplied to at least one of the light emitting diode arrays. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
