<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit which is constituted so that a viewer can observe a stereoscopic image on a stereoscopic image display device or a viewer's image on a plurality of image display devices without feeling the sense of incongruity by the viewer even in the case that the light source cannot be generated precisely, and to provide an image display device using the light source unit. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device includes: a stereoscopic image display part; and a light source unit 200 in which a plurality of light sources are arranged in parallel so as to correspond to a first display and a second display for displaying a first image and a second image, respectively.
