<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus protection system for protecting a power system from a bus accident occurring in an electric station where a bus protection device is not installed. <P>SOLUTION: The bus protection system is to protect the power system from the bus accident occurring in a B substation being an electric station where the bus protection device is not installed. The system includes a bus split switch 5 installed between a first transmission line 1L and a second transmission line 2L of the bus in the B substation; first and second distance relays 10<SB>1</SB>and 10<SB>2</SB>which are disposed in power supply end sides of the first and second transmission lines 1L and 2L and functioning as a bus accident detecting means for opening the bus split switch 5 when the bus accident occurring in the B substation is detected; and a monitoring controller 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
