<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for down-regulating pro-inflammatory markers, such as interleukin and tumour necrosis factor-α. <P>SOLUTION: The synergistic composition comprises: a boswellic acid fraction at a concentration of about 60%, comprisingβ-boswellic acid, 11-keto-β-boswellic acid, and the like obtained from gum resin of Boswellia serrata such as Indian Frankincense; and a polysaccharide fraction at a concentration of about 40%, comprising arabinose, D-glucuronic acid, and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
