PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder that properly corrects misalignment of a recording position. SOLUTION: A printer includes a carriage 24 configured to reciprocate along a main scanning direction X, a recording head 26 which is supported by the carriage 24 and performs recording process onto paper P transferred along a transfer direction Y crossing the main scanning direction X, and a detection mechanism 30 for detecting inclination of the recording head 26 relative to the paper P in the transfer direction Y. The recording head 26 is constituted to rotate around an axis line C1 extending in the main scanning direction X according to the detection result of the detection mechanism 30.
