<p>The invention relates to a structural element for the headbox of a fiber-fed machine, which is a water-dilution element (10). At least one water-dilution zone (12) is formed in the headbox. The structural element comprises an integrated frame member (13), a mixing chamber (14) integrated in the frame member (13), a pipeline device (15) for delivering the dilution water to the mixing chamber (14) and a distribution channel (16) connected with the mixing chamber (14). The water-dilution element (10) is configured to form the water-dilution zone (12). Meanwhile, at least part of the distribution channel (16) in the length direction thereof is formed to be part of the single frame member (13).</p> |
