<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate complicated settings in differential printing in accordance with circumstances of users. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver 30 configures print settings on print data created by an application 21, and aggregates them by item to be stored in an HDD 16 as use frequency information and stores the print data as original print data. When new print data partly different from the original print data in the HDD 16 is created, the print data is compared with the original print data, to detect print data difference. Differential pages of print data in the print data are transmitted to a printer along with corresponding print settings. Frequently used print settings are detected from the use frequency information in the HDD 16. Whether the differential printing using only the difference pages of print data can be performed or not is determined by the use frequency of the print settings, and the result is also transmitted to the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
