PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of enhancing the presentation effect by a display means. SOLUTION: In displaying a specific character (a shark 276) in a reduced size in a third symbol display device 81 corresponding to the display means, at least a part (the whole shark 276) of the displayed shark 276 in the reduced size is displayed in blue, the color of retreat, and board lamps 87-89 disposed in the outer periphery and in the vicinity of the third symbol display device 81 are lighted to emit blue light with higher brightness than the blue color of the shark 276. Further, frame lamps 30-32 disposed in the outer periphery of the third symbol display device 81 and outside the board lamps 87-89 are lighted to emit blue light with higher brightness than the blue light emitted from the board lamps 87-89.
