PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber sheet-shaped material obtained by integrating a nonwoven fabric with a woven or knitted fabric, having a high strength and excellent dimensional stability, and also having great flexibility. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fiber sheet-shaped material includes carrying out the needle punching by restricting the varve 2 of a needle in the direction of ¾0-30°¾ when the angle right-angled to the traveling direction of the sheet is 0°in a production process of the fiber sheet-shaped material of integrating the sheet comprising the nonwoven fabric and the woven or knitted fabric by the needle punching.
