<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in security that, in an image processing apparatus which is capable of executing processing using a process definition file and corresponds to a call function, various users may be allowed to use the process definition file using the call function. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a storage unit for storing a setting history indicating setting contents for processing executed in the image processing apparatus, and a unit for acquiring a process definition file and executing processing in accordance with the acquired process definition file. It is then determined whether or not processing executed in the image processing apparatus is processing according to the process definition file and if it is determined as processing according to the process definition file, the setting history indicating setting contents for the processing is not stored, but if the processing is not determined as processing according to the process definition file, the setting history indicating the setting contents for the processing is stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
