<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake easily manufactured at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier part is constituted of two components: a carrier 41 and a holder 85, and the carrier 41 and the holder 85 are connected together only by a pin 84 placed on the axial line common between them. In this way, coaxiality of a planet gear mechanism 36 can be secured easily, and a mounting hole for each of pins 47 supporting planetary gears 45 of the planetary gear mechanism 36 is arranged only one of the two components.
