PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner and an electrolytic water mist generator, capable of diffusing electrolytic water mist in a wide range and also capable of densely wafting it around. SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 includes a casing 20, an air distribution route 27 formed inside the casing 20, an air cleaning device 28 and a blower 29 disposed in the air distribution route 27, an electrolytic water generator 44, and an electrolytic water mist generating device 45 for turning the electrolytic water generated by the electrolytic water generating device 44 into mist. A top surface exhaust port 25 is provided on the top surface of the casing 20, and a front exhaust port 26 is provided on the front surface of the casing 20. The electrolytic water mist generated by the electrolytic water mist generating device 45 is discharged into exhaust coming out from the top surface exhaust port 25. Air discharged from the blower 29 reaches the position of the front exhaust port 26 before reaching the top surface exhaust port 25, and an exhaust port switching device 41 for switching which is to be a main exhaust port is disposed between both exhaust ports.
