PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device for a compressor for an air conditioner capable of highly accurately detecting a state of a refrigerant within the compressor even by an inexpensive leakage current detector. SOLUTION: The drive control device for the compressor for the air conditioner includes: the leakage current detector 9 detecting leakage current based on floating capacitance 10 generated between a compressor motor 4 and the compressor 5; a carrier frequency control part 8 controlling an inverter 3 by a predetermined carrier frequency at predetermined intervals during stop of the operation of the compressor 5 and increasing the leakage current; and a refrigerant flooded state prevention control part 7 reading the leakage current detected by the leakage current detector 9 to determine whether the leakage current is below a predetermined value and heating inside of the compressor 5 by performing constraint energization with respect to winding of the compressor motor 4 when the leakage current is larger than the predetermined value.
