摘要 Disclosed is a holder with a holder guide tube fitted to the outside thereof which can be used to manufacture heat exchangers even in cases when the interval between the straight pipes and hairpin pipes penetrating a radiator fin of the heat exchanger, the intervals between each of the straight pipes and each of the hairpin pipes penetrating a radiator fin in a zigzagging layout, and/or the intervals between each of the straight pipes and each of the hairpin pipes penetrating a radiator fin in three, four or more rows are all decreased in order to reduce the consumption of energy and minimize costs through miniaturization. When manufacturing either heat exchangers that have been miniaturized by minimizing the intervals (pitch) of the holders or heat exchangers in which the intervals between all of the insertion tubes, and not only the insertion tubes that have different diameters, have been reduced while ensuring that adjacent holder guide tubes of the holders with a holder guide tube fitted to the outside thereof for each of the straight pipes and hairpin pipes do not come into contact with one another, the disclosed holder with a holder guide tube fitted to the outside thereof can be used to manufacture a heat exchanger by expanding a pipe, which should have approximately the same overall length before and after expansion, and integrating the pipe with a radiator fin. Also disclosed are a method and device for manufacturing heat exchangers using said holder. The disclosed holder (3) for a pipe in a heat exchanger is used in a heat exchanger manufacturing device (1), and can be fitted to the outside of a pipe-expanding mandrel (2), which is capable of applying pressure to a pipe (7) in a radiator fin of a heat exchanger (5) from the opening (7b) of the pipe, in a manner such that reciprocating movement is possible. Furthermore, the holder (3) has a plurality of pipe-contacting parts (3f) capable of radial expansion in directions intersecting the lengthwise direction of the pipe (7), and the outer surfaces of the pipe-contacting parts (3f) are provided with inclined surfaces (3b) which are inclined so as to expand towards the opening(7b)-side of the pipe (7). The holder (3) is configured so that the pipe-contacting parts (3f) are made to expand in the radial direction by a sliding means which causes the inclined surfaces (3b) of the pipe-contacting parts (3f) to slide with a reciprocating motion along the lengthwise direction of the pipe. Therein, the plurality of pipe-contacting parts (3f) capable of radial expansion are separated by a plurality of slit-like gaps (3a) having a prescribed width dimension (3u) that are formed in the lengthwise direction of the holder (3) along the reciprocating direction of the pipe-expanding mandrel (2), and said slit-like gaps (3a) are formed so as to have a width-expansion dimension (3x) such that the prescribed width dimension (3u) gradually expands from a prescribed location towards the opening (7b) of the pipe (7).
