PURPOSE: A device and a method for blocking an unauthorized IP sharing device using an agent are provided to block traffic of the IP sharing device, thereby managing a network by a center control method. CONSTITUTION: An agent transmits an information packet including local IP information of a host PC(Personal Computer). A controller(200) checks whether the local IP information of the host PC is equal to official source IP information by analyzing the information packet. When the local IP information of the host PC is not equal to official source IP information, the controller determines whether a device connected to the host PC is an IP sharing device. When the IP sharing device is unauthorized, the controller blocks traffic of the IP sharing device. |
