<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a companion flange, eliminating a measure of strength of a counterpart rotating member and restraining increase in weight. <P>SOLUTION: This companion flange includes: a hollow part 5A, one end of which is integrally provided with a flange part 3A fastened and connected to a propeller shaft; and a hollow shaft part 7A integrally connected to the other end of the hollow part 5A by a pressure connecting part 29, wherein further the flange is provided with a seat surface 11a formed on the axial inner surface at the other end of the hollow part 5A, and inner splines 17a, 25a formed on the hollow shaft part 7A, to which a spline 33 of a drive pinion 31 is fitted and connected to engage with each other in the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
