<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device capable of restraining fuel economy reduction in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: After releasing operation of a brake pedal 60, pumps 219(319) are driven in a state of adjusting opening-closing a valve in an ABS/VDC actuator 8, and pressure reduction control is performed for returning a brake liquid of a wheel cylinder 7 to a master cylinder 2. Thus, the brake liquid remaining in the wheel cylinder 7 is returned to the master cylinder 2 via the pumps 219(319), and liquid pressure of the master cylinder 2 increases, and a return characteristic of electric actuation 3 is improved thereby. Thus, for example, even if viscosity of grease of a rotation-linear motion converting mechanism 23 increases in a low temperature state, a piston (a primary piston 11) of the master cylinder 2 can be properly returned to an initial position, and induction of a drag state of a brake pad is restrained according to this, in its turn, fuel economy of the vehicle can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
