PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durability testing apparatus, capable of improving the followability of a vibration applying member, while preventing the occurrence of a hunting phenomenon, when vibration is applied to a sample having a moving member moved by driving of an actuator. SOLUTION: The durability testing apparatus 30 for performing a durability test by applying vibration to the sample 20 having a rod 22 moved by driving of a motor 21 includes a hydraulic cylinder 31 for applying vibration by continuously pressing and towing the rod 22 in the sample 20, and an elastic mechanism 40 where the rigidity is lower than that of the sample 20 and is the same when a cylinder rod 32 of the hydraulic cylinder 31 presses or tows the rod 22.
