<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter system for a hydrogen cooling generator. <P>SOLUTION: The filter system for a hydrogen cooling dynamo-electric machine 110 includes a float trap 320 which is connected hydraulically to the component of the dynamo-electric machine via the first conduit, a filter 330 which is flowably connected to the float trap via the second conduit, and a float switch 340 which is flowably connected to the filter via the third conduit.
