PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening member at low cost which is used as a substitute for a nut to fasten an article with a bolt and is surely and easily fastened and unfastened. SOLUTION: The fastening member includes a half-cylindrical resin nut member having an internal thread part arranged in part inside, and a resin case housing the nut member inside. The fastening member includes, between the nut member and the case: a means for switching an external thread part of the bolt between a position, wherein the external thread part is clamped and engaged between the internal thread part of the nut member and the inside face of the case facing the internal thread part by the axial movement of the case to the nut member, and a position wherein the clamping engagement is released; a means for holding the axial directional position of the case to the nut member in the position wherein the clamping engagement is released; and a rotation regulating means for spirally rotating the nut member according to the spiral rotation of the case.
