摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring liquid density in a storage tank capable of directly and simultaneously measuring the liquid densities at a plurality of desired positions (or desired levels) of the liquid stored in the storage tank with high precision, capable of extemporaneously and flexibly corresponding even to the alteration or increase of a measuring point and easy in the installation to the storage tank or the maintenance of the same. SOLUTION: This liquid density measuring instrument 10 for measuring the density of the liquid stored in the storage tank 1 is equipped with a plurality of optical fibers 2 different in length having Raman probes 3 provided to the leading ends thereof, a spectroscope 6 to which the respective Raman scattered lights, which are simultaneously measured by the Raman probes 3 inherent to at least two measuring points of two or more measuring points different in height level, are transmitted and a liquid density calculation means 7 for calculating the liquid densities of the same time at the respective measuring points from the liquid components inherent to the Raman scattered lights detected by the spectroscope 6.
