PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injector, wherein bubbles generated in the ejector can be separated while avoiding enlargement of the ejector. SOLUTION: In the liquid ejector, a pressure regulation means for regulating the pressure of liquid supplied to an ejection head is provided on the upstream side of the ejection head. Furthermore, bubbles are carried to a pressure chamber which is built in the pressure regulation means, by circulating liquid between the ejection head and the pressure regulation means by using a liquid circulation means. Since the liquid flow is more gradual in the pressure chamber than in the channel on the upstream side or downstream side of the pressure chamber, bubbles move gradually upward by buoyancy. Since bubbles are stored near the upper surface of the pressure chamber, bubbles in the liquid can be separated in the pressure chamber without providing a subtank. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
