A content delivery is performed via a cable network having a large capacity, while data used for control are transmitted and received via an IP network. A VoD channel is allocated beforehand to the band of a cable network (1) as divided for each of a plurality of regions, and further this VoD channel is dynamically allocated in response to a VoD streaming request from an end device (11). A head end includes a broadcast server (2), a control information server (3), a VOD server (4), a regional page server (5) and a multiplexer (6). The control information server (3) broadcasts and sends out DVB-SI, which is to be used for constructing information used for selecting a program, and AIT that is to be used for controlling browser pages. The end device (11) transmits and receives, to and from the servers of the head end, data, which are to be used for acquiring a content, and data, which are to be used for controlling a streaming reproduction, via the internet (17). |
