Provided with a plurality of solar cell strings (8) comprising solar cell modules (1) connected in a series that each generate direct-current power from light irradiation, and a junction box (2) that inputs the direct-current power from the plurality of solar cell strings. The junction box is equipped with: a plurality of current detectors (10) that each detect a combined current value for positive currents and negative currents when the currents running in a portion of the solar cell strings within the plurality of solar cell strings are positive and the currents running in the remaining solar cell strings in the plurality of solar cell strings, excluding said portion of solar cell strings, are negative; a measurement device (11) that measures, for each of the current detectors, the combined current value detected by the current detector; and a data transmission device (12) that transmits the current value measured by the measurement device.
