The invention relates to an apparatus for processing fine particles, comprising a flow chamber and at least one collection structure. The flow chamber is connected to a first port and to a second port, and provides a space between the first and second ports for the flow of a fluid containing fine particles. The collection structure is disposed in the flow chamber to form a fluid channel which includes a first opening and a second opening. A collection area having varying cross-sectional shapes is formed between the first and second openings to collect the fine particles moving from the first port to the second port.
