The method involves fixing a support film (6) on a mosaic template (1), where the support film is transparent. Multiple plates (7) made of plastic films of different colors are provided, which have same shape and size as the surfaces (4) of the mosaic template. The plates are held at the support film with adhesive force (F). An independent claim is also included for a construction kit for making a mosaic.
