<p>An output signal is attained having a preferred phase relationship for output signals of two magnetic detector elements, without enlarging a sensor package, even if two magnetic detector elements are housed in a single sensor package. A magnetic sensor (3) has two magnetic-detector elements (11, 12) opposingly disposed on an external circumference of a rotating magnet (8) magnetized with polarities that differ from a magnetic pole adjacent in a circumference direction, and is disposed in a single sensor package (10), varying sensitivity in an axial direction of each magnetic-detector element (11, 12) so that a phase of an output signal output from the two magnetic-detector elements (11, 12) has a preferred phase relationship.</p> |
