<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elevate and lower a tray for loading a sheet stably by normal winding operation when elevating, lowering, and controlling the tray by a traction member such as a wire. <P>SOLUTION: This sheet storing device is provided with a tray means for loading and storing sheets delivered from a paper delivery port sequentially, a frame of the device for supporting the tray means so as to elevate and lower freely in the direction for loading sheet, the wire and the other traction member for pulling the tray means in the direction for loading sheet, a winding pulley for winding the traction member, and a driving means for driving it. The traction member is provided with a clamp means arranged between the winding pulley and the tray means to lock the traction member. The clamp means is constituted to prevent loosening of the traction member wound around the winding pulley when a suspension position of the tray means is changed. Consequently, even when the tray means is lifted by, for example, a user and its suspension position is changed, there is no risk that the traction member becomes loose and its tense attitude is lost or it is twisted and broken depending on winding pulley section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
