发明名称 UN DISPOSITIVO QUE COMPRENDE UN TUBO DE RAYOS CAToDICOS PARA LA REPRODUCCIoN DE IMáGENES DE TELEVISION
摘要
755,099. Colour television. CHROMATIC TELEVISION LABORATORIES, Inc. Dec. 22, 1954 [Dec. 22, 1953], No. 37119/54. Class 40 (3). In a colour' television receiver employing a cathode-ray tube 3 of the type comprising a striped fluorescent screen 27 and post-deflection colour-selection grids 35, 351, a switching oscillation at the colour repetition frequency is applied between the grids by means of a transformer 41, 43, the inductance of the secondary of which is selected to resonate with the capacity between the grid electrodes. The arrangement permits the large interelectrode current which becomes necessary at a switching frequency of 3-4 Mc/s. to be obtained from an oscillatory source of relatively low power. The transformer is constructed as a simple air transformer with coaxial coils and is mounted as close as possible to or directly on the cathode-ray tube in a magnetic shield 51. The particular receiver described operates with a transmission in which the colour information is conveyed by a sub-carrier, and the switching oscillation is obtained from the sub-carrier source in receiver 1 via an amplifier 53. The tube E.H.T. supply to the grids is brought to the centre-tap on winding 41. The fluorescent stripes on the screen are in the sequence red, green, blue, green, &c., with the grid electrode wires opposite the red and blue stripes, Fig. 2 (not shown), and the colour signals on the receiver output leads 9r-9b are gated. to the cathode-ray tube cathode 15 in the same sequence in synchronism with the colour switching as by gate stages 59r-59b. The subcarrier oscillation is applied in antiphase from buffer amplifier 57 to gates 59r and 59b, and is applied via phase adjuster 61 and frequency doubler 63 to the green gate 59g.
