PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a problem that a sound generated by a speaker propagates a casing to cause the erroneous operation of, for example, a recorder for recording and reproducing video information in a video display device. SOLUTION: When the speaker and the casing are clamped with a screw, for example, they are fixed by sandwiching a vibration-proof material formed of an elastic body. In a fixed state, between a front frame of the speaker and a rib of the casing opposite to the front frame is closed by using a closed cell type cushion material. Thus, the vibration of the casing resulting from the sound generated by the speaker is reduced. Since the cushion material is fixed in a slightly-compressed state, sound leakage from the speaker to the inside of the device is reduced, and a user can listen to the sound with satisfactory sound quality as a result.
