The element (3) i.e. plug element (5), has a contacting area (1) electrically contacting a counter-contact surface of a counter-contact element in one region. The contacting area comprises grooves (7) whose alignment forms acute angle (alpha) in plug-in direction (9). The angle between the plug-in direction and the alignment of the grooves is about 45-60 degrees. Depth and middle width (B) of each groove is about 7-50 micrometer. A square-shaped contact portion is formed as a plug-in tongue surface area of a contact area at a spigot end (11).
