Device for producing a curvature in a vascular prosthesis
摘要

The vascular prosthesis (1), i.e. as the arch of the aorta, has folded ring pleats (4) around it. The arch shape is formed by a longitudinal bend (2) with an asymmetrical shortened gathering of the pleats at the inner side of the arch curve by at least one longitudinal stitched seam (7) along the curved section. The seam gives a bellows pleat structure at the arch curve and compressed pleats in the longitudinal straight sections (3) which are attached to the ends of the aorta. The finished prosthesis is fixed by heat before use.
