The device has a rotor (1) rotatable around a rotation axis (2) and exhibiting three rotor blades (6) that are placed at a distance from one another and are arranged parallel to the rotation axis. The rotor has two carrier elements (3, 4) arranged in respective planes that are perpendicular and parallel to the rotation axis, respectively. Each rotor blade has an annular curvature around a curve axis in an axial direction. The curvature is inclined to the rotation axis around a radial angle in radial direction and to a circumferential direction of the rotation axis around a tangential angle. An independent claim is also included for a wind-power plant with a device for converting flow energy of a gaseous fluid into rotation energy.
