PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the embedding device/method of information to audio signals which can embed mass additional information to audio signals of a plurality of channels as un-audible electronic watermark information by hardly affecting original sound quality and also can extract embedded additional information from audio signals under being reproduced correctly. SOLUTION: In the embedding device of information to audio signals, additional information which is to be embedded is read (S101), audio frames are extracted from respective channels of a stereo audio signal (S104), the extracted frames are subjected to frequency conversion (S105), when intensity of low frequency components is below the reference, low frequency components of the left and right channels are processed evenly as information showing a delimiter (S108), when the intensity of the low frequency components is equal to or larger than the reference, the distribution between the left and right channels is changed so that the left is larger or the right is larger according to the bit values of the additional information (S107). Then, the additional information is embedded in the audio signals by subjecting the signals whose low frequency components are changed to frequency inverse conversion (S109).
