The piece has an element (1) forming a support structure i.e. ring, for a thermoplastic element (3). An external portion (5) of the element (3) co-operates with the element (1) outside an opening (2) in order to exert mechanical forces (F) on the element (1) for partially forming a mechanical connection unit, where the forces are collected from withdrawal of a material constituting the element (3) after cooling and solidifying the element (3). The element (1) is made of plastic, ceramic or metallic material.
