PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the deceleration controller of a vehicle for relaxing release shock without slip-controlling a lockup clutch. SOLUTION: A response time A since the release of a lockup clutch is commanded until the differential pressure of the lockup clutch is turned into almost zero is calculated, and after the resumption of fuel supply of a fuel cut device is commanded, a response time B until the output torque of an engine raises to almost zero is calculated. Then, a relative delay time C is set between the release command of the lockup clutch and the resumption command of fuel supply of a fuel cut device so that timing when the differential pressure of the lockup clutch is turned into almost zero and timing when the output torque of the engine raises to almost zero can be matched by using the response time A and the response time B.
