The submarine (5) has a communication buoy (10) floated on a water surface (15). The communication buoy is connected with the submarine by a cable (20). A portion of an antenna e.g. long wire antenna or loop antenna, extends along a portion of the cable. An electrical line of the cable forms the portion of the antenna. The antenna includes sea water contacts electrically spaced from each other, where sea water (40) between the contacts acts as a conductive antenna element. One of the sea water contacts is formed by a part of an outer layer (45) of the submarine. |
