An interconnected arrangement of a light-emitting diode arrangement (18) with individual modules (10, 11, 12) comprising at least one light-emitting diode chip as luminous elements in a parallel circuit, the light-emitting diode chip arrangements (18) being respectively connected via a linear constant current circuit (17) to a common current-carrying voltage source (15) which at the start of the operation continually raises the supply voltage (U) via an operating range assigned thereto and when reaching a constant total current flowing over the parallel circuit, fixes and maintains the associated supply voltage unaltered.
