<p>A batting glove (80) includes a plurality of finger elements (82), a thumb element (84), a top portion (86), and a lower portion (88). The finger elements (82) cover fingers, the thumb element (84) covers a thumb, the top portion (86) covers a back side of the hand, and the lower portion (88) covers a palm of the hand. Preselected thicknesses of preselected materials (96, 98, 100, 116) are included in order to protect the bones, ligaments, pulleys, tendons, etc. of a wearer from direct shock, and to distribute stress along the hand.</p> |
