PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POTASSIUM-CHROME (III) DOUBLE PHOSPHATE

摘要

A process for the preparation of potassium-chrome (III) double phosphate comprises use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances. The mechanical mixture of KPOis ground in an agate mortar to homogeneous state. The obtained mechanical mixture is calcinated in a platinum crucible, the melt is saturated while stirring with potassium fluoride KF, saturated with chrome (III) oxide, stirred and crystallized by decreasing temperature. The obtained green single crystals of double phosphate of KCrPOare washed and dried at room temperature.
