METHOD FOR CREATION OF ALTERNARIOSIS-RESISTANT INITIAL BREEDING TOMATO FORMS

A method for creation of alternariosis-resistant initial breeding tomato forms includes growing plants in vitro at the level of tissue culture, creation in the in vitro culture of an infection background using culture filtrate (CF) of extracellular metabolites of Alternaria solani Sorauer fungi as a selective agent, selection of surviving genotypes. Cotyledonary leaves of collection sample sprouts are planted directly on induction nutrient medium with adding the selective agent thereto. Selection of resistant genotypes in the in vitro culture is preformed twice. Additionally selected genotypes are evaluated by means of inoculation of the plants with mycelia-and-spore suspension of Alternaria solani Sorauer in spring film greenhouses.
