FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: plain thrust bearing (1) consists of: made of synthetic resin first circular case (5), second circular case (7), circular thrust surface (11) corresponding to unit of plain thrust bearing; and strengthening element (10) made of sheet metal. Case (5) has upper circular surface (2) and lower circular surface (4). Case (7) is superposed on case (5), rotates around axis (O) of case (5) and has lower circular surface (6) opposite to surface (2) of case (5). Reinforcing element (10) has lower circular surface (8) contacting surface (2) of case (5) and upper circular surface (9) opposite to surface (6) of case (7). Unit of the plain thrust bearing is positioned between surface (9) of reinforcing element (10) and surface (6) of case (7). Also, lower circular surface (97) and circular surface (96) of the plain trust bearing are in sliding contact correspondingly with surface (9) of reinforcing element (10) and with surface (6) of case (7).
