The invention relates to a Jack selector unit (100) for textile knitting machines, comprising a plurality of selector tips (20), each oscillating around an oscillation pin (22) between two extreme positions in relation to a central, neutral position, and a plurality of piezoelectric laminae (30) each of which operatively connected to a respective selector tip (20), and electrically operable to cause the oscillation of said tip (20). The fixed end (32) of each piezoelectric lamina ends with a shank appendage (34). The shanks (34) of the plurality of laminae (30) are interposed between two clamps (40,41) at least one (41) of which is movable with respect to another (40) like a clamp between an open release position, to allow the centring of the selector tips (20) in the neutral position, and a clamped position of the shanks (34) during normal use of the unit (100). |
